Happy Spring!!

It is very warm in Japan!

The weather is just like May!

I painted a little pink Easter kitty.

It's acrylic on paper.

Speaking of pink, it is a spring color especially in Japan because of cherry blossom.

🌸Cherry started to bloom earlier this year!
I haven’t died Easter eggs for a few years, but that’s okay.

I eat eggs every morning!😋

🐰Well, Happy Easter to everyone!!!🐣

How artists change their styles!

Sometimes, artists change their art styles.

I think the reason can be depending on individual, time, situation and so on.
Some artists don't change their styles.

I have changed my styles quite many times.
There are 2 reasons why I change my styles.

1. For creating new, different and more interesting.
2. For challenging to myself and possibilities that I have never seen.

YouTube Official Channel

I made a video about the story that I have been changing my styles in about 1/4 century.
It's about 10 minutes video.😊

Food & Art

Maybe, my eating habit can build my personality.

I may be wrong, but you are what you eat!😜

Therefore, I started to think food and art can be related.

I recently started food Instagram as well as art one.🍴

Two of artists that I know also have art and food Instagram accounts.

Then, I began to realize their foods look like their artworks!

The left side is my food Instagram, and the right side is my art Instagram.
Aren't they look similar?

Maybe colors are similar???

I watch my diet a little bit and try to be healthy.

I hope not my art is in diet, but I hope my art is healthier than what I eat!!

Maybe, once the same person makes food and art, these look very much like.
If I make something else, those might look similar too!
And all things we do show our personalities!

Again, I might be wrong about food & art thing, but I thought that could be fun to think about...😉

Why I paint naked men!

I made a new video, "Why I paint naked men."

Been a male artist to paint men's nude as motif, I assume some people may misunderstand the reason.

The reason is simple that I think naked men are funny!

Forgive my English.😜

Please click here to see my channel. 👀
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqHFoxbWeOeumv7paIsrzDA

So far, I only have one live painting video, but I am going to post more and am trying to make future videos to be more interesting to watch.

🎥I'm thinking about making videos like how I get inspirations for creating art, or how I process to making art and maybe some of my live painting videos.

I hope any one will enjoy my videos and also motivate some artists as well.

I get motivation from other artists too!

Enogh about something I havn't done yet!😀

This is one of my recent painting.

I used spray paints and acrylic paints with brushes.

Well, that's it for this time.

See you next time!😉

AQUATIC

😊😀

It's summer time and is the best season to enjoy the sea!!

Right now, I am hosting the art show "AQUATIC" that theme is the sea!

Ten artists are displaying their own ideas of the sea!

These are a fabric artist Ellie Morikawa's work.
She is also an host and created the concept of this exhibition.

"Life of the Eclipsed Island"
The sky is getting dark, and the residents are
dancing for themselves to become the lights.
Spin around and make a circle.

(I translated this from her Japanese, so English may be a little strange??)

Ellie's style is very fun and fashionable.  She has unusual creativity  and own mysterious world!

These are my pieces.
I express the sea related things or stories.
Some of my work are made out of sea wood, sea weeds and sea shells that I picked up from the beach by the ocean.

There are many ways to live with nature.
I believe art can be one of them!

I appreciate there are beautiful seas in the world!

Yosuke Awata (Artist)

This is Saki Katsura's work.

Many of international customers like Saki's whale!
Isn't he so cute??

But not only that, all of her pieces are fantastic and very unique!

She does beautiful patterns of design!

Saki Katsura (Artist)

 This is a Kakuni's painting.

Kakuni paints cute and unique objects.
His cray composition is very fun and interesting!

The vivid colors he uses that makes me happy!!

Kakuni (Salary Man Painter)

These are Aya's paintings.

Her style has very happy energy and is pop and colorful!!

I believe if any one's summer vacation's image was like her painting, that means he or she could got got a wonderful summer!

AYA (Artist)

These are Rocka Tsubaki's work.

Rocka's artworks usually have stories and are mostly crazy and sad.
This time, her style is still creepy and psychedelic, but stories are positive!
They are still cray and interesting, and there is still her in them!
